Where a branch wishes to send an additional observer to the Executive Meeting, every attempt will be made to seat them with the Branch delegate at tables but cannot be guaranteed. Please make it clear if you are a “Branch Observer” on your registration form. General Members may attend to observe this meeting and will be seated where possible. On Saturday afternoon the Executive Meeting will continue when the Annual General Meeting concludes.
Arrivals and Departures: On the registration form you will be asked to state whether or not you wish to make use of the offer of transport to and from Auckland Airport. Please make sure you fill this in so the branch can meet your needs. All flight bookings should be arranged and the AGM organisers advised of times as soon as possible.
Dietary Needs: Please let us know your special dietary requirements on the registration form.
Evening Dinners:
Friday – Dinner before the meeting will be at your own expense and arrangement.
Saturday – Come and share a celebratory evening with Club members from all over New Zealand. Theme is Red, White and Blue in honour of the Queen’s jubilee. Cost is $65 and includes a 3 course set menu. A cash bar will be provided. Make up a party and come along.
Supporters Bus Tour Saturday afternoon – Select from a choice of 2 tours. Tours are for arranged for non-executive members
Option 1. Dickies Truck Museum. Run and owned by a well known Waiuku family. The Dickie’s are one half of Knight and Dickie Transport and have amassed a large collection of trucks and farm machinery along with a lot of local history which is well set out and displayed in Waiuku.
Option 2. Take a sightseeing tour up the Awhitu Peninsula and a short stop at the Manukau Heads Lighthouse.
Sunday Morning – Shed Visit or Shopping at Sylvia Park
Members Steve and Sue Keys have a vast collection of vehicles and motoring memorabilia. Their latest restoration – a Diamond T Texaco Tanker was featured in the June issue of Beaded Wheels. This is nearing completion and no expense or detail has been missed. A shopping alternative is available with drop off and pick up from Sylvia Park Shopping Centre (no charge).

For the people not heading back home directly, a lunch at 11.30am will be available. Our clubrooms have a spares department which will be open, and arguably the best motoring library in the country which will also be open. For those who pre order, a 2 course lunch will be provided.
