New Zealand’s Foremost Historic Motoring Authority

Welcome to one of the largest motoring clubs in New Zealand. With over 8,000 members and many thousands of vehicles and motorcycles listed on the club’s database, the Vintage Car Club of New Zealand offers something for everyone. You don’t need to own a Vintage vehicle to become a member – our club caters for all Types of cars, motorcycles, commercial and military vehicles which are over 30 years old and are in compliance with VCC period category requirements.

The club has 36 branches throughout New Zealand and runs a variety of events to cater for all our members: tarseal trundles, rural runs, hillclimbs, swapmeets and speed events as well as regular club evenings around the country for a yarn with like minded enthusiasts.

Our members share a common appreciation for fascination of age, the individuality and the functional elegance of vehicles from a by-gone era. Club-eligible vehicles include Veteran, Vintage, Post War, Post 1960, Post 1980, Commercial, Motorcycle and Historic Racing vehicles.

2021 Daffodil Rally for Cancer
22 August 2021

 From Bluff to Kaitaia our members will be hitting the roads on 22 August to raise funds for their local cancer society. Join the fun – our  Daffodil Rally for Cancer is open to members of the public to join in – events vary around the country so click here to find out what’s on in your area. All money raised goes to your local branch of the Cancer Society.

75th Annual General Meeting and celebrations

Canterbury Branch invite members to join with them and celebrate 75 years of our club as we host the 75th National AGM in Christchurch in 2021.

We have a full programme of events planned and a special function to mark this milestone in our club history on the Saturday evening. Register now to join us for part or all of the weekend – we look forward to celebrating 75 years of New Zealand’s motoring history with you.
